Lo Shabbat Hatan è una celebrazione tradizionale ebraica legata al matrimonio che può svolgersi nel sabato che precede il matrimonio (Aufruf) o in quello successivo al matrimonio (Shabbat Hatan). La tradizione più comune consiste nel chiamare lo sposo ad un'aliyah (lettura della Torah) nella sinagoga, un momento di gioia per la comunità e le famiglie, durante il quale si può anche lanciare caramelle e si offre un KIDDUSH Blessing over the wine and sanctification of the day for Shabbat.

Legal Procedures
Orthodox Synagogues in Italy are in large citie like Rome, Florence, Venice, Naples, Trieste and Trani.
The above mentioned are all Orthodox communities, the specific rules are the same as in your own country and your Rabbi will need to prepare the necessary religious documents to present to the Italian Rabbi. Exact details and procedures will need to be discussed directly with the Italian Rabbi.
You can also bring your own Rabbi to perform your Wedding celebration in Italy, in this case you will need to have your official Wedding celebration in advance...
